I really like him.. Answer me?

So, I have liked this boy since the first day of school. Im in 7th grade and he is just so wonderful. I ,ove the way he sleeps in pre-algebra, even though he says it is his favorite subject. I love how funny and charming and sweet and compassionate and just awesome. I asked him out, just the other day actually, and he said maybe. He had another girl who asked him out. I don't know what to think. Will this just blow over and will he forget I even asked him? Im so confused and constantly crying. Should I ask him again in a few weeks if he is still single? Or will I sound desperate and obsessive? Do you have any suggestions to impress him? He is kind of emo-ish, i guess, but like mixed with a jock. Haha. So help me? Thanks. :)
