Friend and Guy Troubles?

Well my friend prented to go out with this guy i like he wanted to make me jealous cuz he really really likes me and so he wanted to get me to notice him?? He said he didn't like her but i see the way he stares at her? And he never looks at me that way and she said that she doesn't like him either but when they were "pretended" to go out they made kissy faces at eachother kissed and hugged and said they ove eachother? What do u think do they like eachother what should I do?
