Can dell xps 15 allow me to play high end graphic games?

i need a gaming laptop but alienware seems to be very costly i need a laptop which can play great games with high graphic needs like crysis 2, etc dell xps seems to be around 50k which i can afford n so ive heard dat dell xps are durable........... i need a laptop for college which is durable ,less expensive, has an optical drive (coz alienware m11x doesnt) plz help suggest any other good laptops if u can thnx :)
